My time at the park
Franklin Ranch Community Park is an 84 acre park open to the public. It is primarily known and used for its state-of-the-art baseball/softball fields. However, it also has a fishing pond, over 7 miles of walking trails, playgrounds, a splash pad, an amphitheater, and a multipurpose playing field equal to the size of two football fields to name a few things this park provides. My main role as an intern was taking lead on an event new to the park this summer called Rock'n The Ranch which is a summer concert series put on by a local member of the community in Franklin,TX. His goal was to put on a concert series free of charge to the public to promote the arts and encourage local artists to perform in front of their community.
